Went with the family for an impromptu lunch. Main meals were fairly decent on the whole, although the peas on my plate were cold and rock hard. Garlic bread on another plate was small and soggy, which was a poor excuse of a paid extra! Biggest issue was desserts, with the ‘sharer’ dessert coming so small and of general overall poor quality it would barely feed one. The dessert for a child was a small square of brownie cut in half and served with a teaspoon of melted ice cream. When we spoke to the staff about this, they originally said it was not right but then the person, we’re assuming a manager, got involved to say that’s the portion size and basically tough luck if we were unhappy. No apology, but was happy to undermine her staff and the customer. A poor visit and one which would make me question going back…

Found here on Google and reviews looked OK. Pub has been refurbished so looks really nice inside. When we arrived a lot of tables were reserved on a Wednesday evening. Food looked good coming out so had high hopes. However, my meal of fish and chips was awful. I'm not even sure it was fish as it was grey, tasteless and not a fish texture. Son had mac and cheese and said it was good. Drinks were fairly priced and tasted good. That was the only positive thing I can say.

Ita a good atmosphere to go into and enjoy a drink or food. Food is a bit of a let down, they are always missing things from the menu and the chef could do with an extra hand because half the food is burnt or hot and half cold. Bit tight on the fried breakfast too. Staff are always friendly though. Good for a pint and watch the sports or sit in the beer garden. I'd the food was better then it would be 5star

We came whilst on holiday and the food was so good we came twice. On the first visit I had a roast which was the best I'd had in a long time. My vegetarian daughter also had the roast and she loved it too. On our second visit the food was amazing too, with my mum particularly enjoying the sea bass. Your chef must be brilliant as our food was first class and amazing value for money.

The worst food I’ve had in my life and I’m from Africa. I don’t recommend this place. Chefs need to pick up their game. What an absolute let down. My paper straw tasted better than my meal.

Great service friendly staff and affordable, have been coming here for years. The Farmhouse has also gone under a major renovation and have build an excellent outdoor heated area. The deals each day are fantastic also

Long waiting time for food, maybe it was because we have just come out of lockdown & the staff are still getting used to things. I had a Chicken New Yorker & it was just OK, for some reason the chicken breasts from Green Kings pubs always seem dry. I've tried food from many of them up & down the country & they all seem the same 😕 …

We used to live here and routinely would visit The Farmhouse. Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for! Never left unhappy. Unfortunately this time round we had a slight issue however, the manager on shift and Jay(sp?) fixed it straight away with no hesitation, even with smiling faces. We couldn't fault the service at all! The Macaroni Cheese is delightful. Keep up the great work guys!
